How little I know inspires me to learn more. Everything I learn about nature teaches me about my own place in the world, humbles me, creates wonder in me, and reminds me how fortunate I am to be alive.

great cycle
I care about every single thing in the natural world. I am of that world, though just a tiny part of it. We as humans are part of that world and have the responsibility to care for it, and advocate for it. If feeds us, inspires us, heals us, teaches us, and needs us. We are all part of a great cycle of being. None of us is any more important than any other part.
purpose
I have a deep respect for nature. It can create as quickly as it can destroy. It understands what it needs, and how we can provide for it. I care about nature because it makes me aware of myself and my purpose on this earth.
rejuvenated
I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated in nature. I care that it is protected so that I can continue to enjoy nature and so other people can too.
primordial
I can’t fully explain why, but I have some deep, almost primordial connection to the natural environment around me, and without it I would feel completely lost, aimless, and placeless.
skepticism
I am skeptical about the intentions of those who claim to have all or the only answer. I am worried that doing nothing for nature is worse than ignoring my skepticism.
morals
Taking care of nature is, personal morals aside, what we are required to do to sustain life. Without our planet, there would be no life in our solar system. But morally, it is our duty to protect nature to ensure the shared space is sustainable for future generations to come.
adoption
Nature has intricate beauty, complex interconnectedness, and resilience beyond what the first humans could have imagined. These qualities are inspiring to me to study, but also to adopt them in my own life.
maintenance
I do care about nature, because I believe that we can create a better world for ourselves by maintaining our natural environments.
break
I care a lot about nature! Whenever I’m having a bad day, it’s nice to go outside and soak up heat from the sun, hear birds, and feel the wind blow. Even when it’s raining or snowing, it’s nice have a free form of entertainment, something that gives you a break from the pressure of life.
